Biking

The Augustów Forest offers cyclists a wide network of routes that run through all the most interesting areas of the Forest. There are excellent routes for experienced cyclists looking for challenges, and for those who want to take a ride with kids. You do not have to take your own bicycle for cycling in the forest - in Augustów, equipment rentals offer bikes for rent from 10 PLN per hour or 30 PLN per day.

GREEN VELO

A bike trail marked up in Eastern Poland with the length of more than 2000 km. The route goes through five provinces: Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Swiętokrzyskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie. The route is marked with orange squares with a bike symbol. In Augustów, it loops around Sajno Lake, running through the town, along Necko Lake and Białe Lake to Studzieniczne Lake.

Kozi Rynek Cycle Route

Start and Finish: Sajenek, by the bridge on the isthmus between Sajenek Lake and Sajenek Pond

The White Eagle Cycle Route

Start and Finish: Studzieniczna

Length: about 80 km

The trail commemorates and reinforces patriotic traditions, the history of the struggle for Polish freedom and independence.

International Euro Velo Cycle Route R11

The route leads from Greece to the North Cape in Norway (5964 km).
