Sleigh rides
The Augustów Forest is a perfect place for active leisure time, even in winter. White snow, frost, the sun shining on the snow at day and the starry sky at night, make it a perfect time for a sleigh ride. The most popular are those held after dark, with torches, finished with a bonfire and traditional hunter's stew along with aromatic mulled wine. Beautiful and scenic horse trails are very well prepared and very well maintained by riding clubs. How to organize a sleigh ride? Nothing simpler, you only need to contact horse riding centres that offer horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter.
